Finally, I have buddies from work who will do a 50 days til the Xmas Party challenge with me. Donna and Gina agreed to take the challenge (not necessarily the same kind or length) with details below:
1. Donna and myself – no chocolates for the next 30 days (what did I get myself into!)
2. Gina – no rice in the next 30 days
3. Myself- 1 cup of coffee only per day in the next 30 days
SO the challenge starts tomorrow – so we will see how it goes…. I am still contemplating if I should sign up for an unlimited 1 month BIKRAM YOGA due to 2 things:
1. I don’t know if I can do it daily….
2. I don’t know if I will miss boxing or martial arts…
I am scheduled to do Bikram at 930am tomorrow. I’d probably sign up but need to commit to do this daily. If only I’m a commitment type of person… NYAK. Well, I’ll take it one step at a time and will make sure to not make any excuses as much as possible so wish me luck!
So it’s final, 3 days of pain and discomfort on my right rotator cap means I need to go back to YOGA. Its been 8 months of 0 practice and I need it to heal and be my therapy for my shoulder. I cant see myself not punching anything so might as well start the healing process- who knows, my heart and spirit gets healed as well. I just trust that yoga provides so much practice on serenity physically and spiritually:)
I think ill join bikram yoga alabang on wednesday. Do the unlimited weekly and then decide from there. I so want to go back to bliss makati but they moved to jupiter and i fear driving there to find no parking:-( so alabang it is!
I have not written for a while. Returned to boxing and muay thai for a while. Doing a marathon in 37 days and I so need to do yoga for that stretching I need. By the way, there’s BIKRAM YOGA ALABANG that just opened late this year. You can check out their facebook page:

This is what I wrote in Cotto’s wall in FB:
Hi Miguel, this is Ira from the Philippines. I just want you to know that you were a real warrior the whole fight with Pacquiao. The sportsmanship and humility you showed truly gained the highest RESPECT from Filipinos like me. More power! Bless you and yuor family! Please know you are welcome to visit our country!!!
I just think that Cotto sustaining until the 12th round despite the hard punching of Manny was really heroic. Plus the fact that he embraced and congratulated Manny…. That truly made a difference! That’s a real man!
As for our boxing legend, I thank God that He blesses him with all the glory!!! I think I told my husband that when Manny has a fight, the whole country is STRESSED out! Wish STRESSTABS were given out for free, eh?
Congrats to the BOTH OF YOU for the great FIGHT YESTERDAY!!!!
